Our Story

My name is Hannah Golder, and I am the founder/owner of Queen City Bakery. I was born and raised in Corning, New York with a wonderful family who has always supported my dreams. My pastry journey started when I was just 8 years old, when I discovered my passion for baking at my Grandparents house in Lindley, New York. In the almost 2 decades since then, I have not only gained knowledge in my field, but I have gained expertise and laser sharp attention to detail in every pastry I create. I graduated from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in June 2021, and immediately after started QCB in Elmira, New York since I felt I could finally call myself a professional. Pastry Arts has brought me so much joy, discipline, and culinary knowledge since I started this journey as just a little one. Life has taken me on many journeys, and my newest one is making a name for myself out here in the Midwest. I made my way out to Iowa/Illinois in July of 2023, and have been carefully planning and working towards starting up business in Erie, Illinois since then. Now that I am finally ready and have set up shop in my gorgeous home kitchen, I am excited to start taking orders and meeting some new and wonderful people in the QCA!
